Privacy and Cookies

1. The short version

visibleseed.com is a set of static files. There is nothing to log in to, nothing to submit, and no database behind it. We do not sell personal information, we do not share it for advertising, and there is no third-party ad or tracking pixel on any page.

2. Who we are

VisibleSeed LLC ("VisibleSeed", "we") operates visibleseed.com and sells restaurant point-of-sale hardware, equipment, apparel, and supplies. Contact: hello@visibleseed.com.

3. What we collect

When you email us

Whatever you put in the email: your name, your restaurant, your contact details, and what you are asking about. That sits in our mailbox like any other business correspondence. We use it to answer you and to prepare a quote or an order, and nothing else. We do not add you to a marketing list for writing to us.

When you buy something

We invoice through Stripe. Stripe collects the payment details and the billing and shipping address. We never see or store your full card number. We receive the order, the amount, and the address we need to ship to. Stripe's handling is governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy.

When you just visit

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes standard request metadata (IP address, user agent, requested URL) to serve the page and block attacks. Where we use Cloudflare Web Analytics it is cookieless and does not fingerprint visitors: it reports aggregate page views and referrers and cannot identify you.

4. Cookies

There is no cookie banner because there is nothing here that would need one. This site sets no cookies of its own and stores nothing in local storage. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies (__cf_bm, cf_clearance) for bot management and to remember that a security challenge was passed. Stripe sets its own cookies on its own checkout and invoice pages, not here.

Blocking these in your browser may mean you see a security challenge more often. Everything else on the site will work.

5. Who we share it with

• Stripe, for invoicing and payments.
• Cloudflare, for hosting and edge security.
• Shipping carriers and suppliers, where fulfilling your order requires the delivery address.

We also disclose where legally required, and we will tell you if that happens unless we are prohibited from doing so.

If you connect VisibleSeed to a third-party platform such as Prinvia, data you choose to share goes to that third party under their policies, not ours. That connection is optional and is initiated by you. See Partners and Trademarks.

6. How long we keep it

Correspondence: up to 24 months from your last contact, then deleted. Order and tax records: as long as tax and accounting law requires, typically 7 years.

7. Security

The site is static and served over HTTPS with a content security policy that permits no third-party script origins. Fonts and images are self-hosted rather than pulled from a CDN. There is no application server, no database, and no user accounts, which removes most of the surface a site like this would otherwise have.

8. Your rights

Email hello@visibleseed.com and ask. You can request a copy of what we hold, a correction, or deletion, and we will act within 30 days without making you justify the request. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights, including under the California Consumer Privacy Act; we honor those for everyone rather than checking your state first, and we do not discriminate against anyone for exercising them.

9. Children

This is a business-to-business site and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

10. Where data is processed

We operate in the United States and data is processed there. We do not offer products outside the United States.

11. Changes

If we change this policy we update the date at the top. For a change that materially affects information you have already given us, we will email you.
